The Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society
The Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society was established by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) to support, encourage, and honor the effort of hardworking and dedicated students. Agora University has been granted the “Alpha of Virginia” chapter of the Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society. Students elected to this membership are distinguished among their cohorts. The membership is a testament to the commitment of the student to excellence in distance learning.
Selection Process and Criteria
- Students must have a 3.5 GPA or higher.
- Demonstrate leadership and service among peers.
- Be within two terms of graduation or are a recent graduate.
Students are nominated by the Faculty Senate at Agora University from those who meet the selection criteria mentioned above.
